“I appreciate that the information has been synthesized in a clear way. This body of work provides a balance of non-authoritative structure with kindness, self-permission, and luxuriating that feels like a necessary and exciting piece. It fills the gap of "what's been missing" in previous experiences of meditation for me.” - Malia, Movement Teacher

"Thank you Jamie for your work, for your journeys from the outside in with physical stepping stones that help me to anchor in and connect with the physicality of my being. It is truly a treasure for me." - Elisabeth, Teacher

"Jamie's work is a pure undoing of what binds and limits, a place of spectacular simplicity which speaks to the soul and body and fulfills a yearning for allowing a simple, "being with one´s breath and body". A way of finding home. Didier, Workshop Leader

In a world that pulls us up into our heads, EMBODIED MINDFULNESS offers a way home: a daily somatic sitting practice that helps the body settle and the mind rest. This easily repeatable approach uses breath, vocalization, self-contact, and subtle movement to quiet mental noise and cultivate grounded presence.

By giving the body something focused to do, the mind naturally relaxes into stillness. As you learn to sit with comfort, support, and ease, the movement of breathing becomes your direct path inward — a simple, embodied way to center your mind and restore balance.

WHAT YOU’LL EXPERIENCE

Over 12 weeks, you’ll explore a step-by-step sequence of 24 body-based contemplative practices that expand your capacity for ease, patience, and focus. These somatically informed practices will help you:

  • Recognize key anatomical touchstones for an objective sense of bodily orientation
  • Develop a felt sense of your body from the inside out — your own internal landscape of sensation
  • Integrate breath, voice, contact, movement, and stillness into a single, living template for awareness and emotional well-being

Each 90-minute class includes two unique guided practices, personal exploration time, group reflection, and theory.

You’ll also receive playback recordings for daily 15–20 minute home practice — the keystone of your learning.

To support your personal development, the course includes two one-on-one consultations with me, focused on refining your individual practice and deepening understanding.

BY THE END OF THE COURSE

You’ll know how to sit not just still, but alive.

You’ll have a repertoire of simple, embodied tools to ground yourself anywhere, and a renewed trust in your body as teacher, companion, and refuge.
